Daniel Arzani got a taste of the World Cup as a teenager back in 2018, only for injury and a series of misadventures in clubland to conspire to see him fall away by the time the 2022 iteration came around.
But now, back in the Socceroos fold and just 90 minutes away from helping the side qualify automatically for the 2026 tournament in North America, he says being a part of this journey is even sweeter than 2018.
